Anything I've ever set out to accomplish in my lifetime has never been done with mediocrity. I think too often we as humans have the habit of settling for less than or stopping our efforts when we've just reached the tip of the iceberg. I believe in order to succeed at anything, we must be willing to put forth effort and a little bit of grit.

I'm Ashley
Photographing humans wasn't always on my to-do list. I began this journey hauling around a relatively cheap camera on hikes and trips up north, always having been captivated by the beautiful landscapes around me. In the summer of 2019, I began photographing couple's love stories and family's memories. I knew then that I didn't want to be 'just another photographer'. Every person who graces the front of my lens deserves to have their story told authentically. The details matter as much as the big picture. You should be able to fill an album with photos from your sessions with me and be able to tell a story from the memories.
When I'm not wielding a camera, the rest of my days are spent hanging with my husband and giving my pup, Gus the Vizsla, plenty of boops and an enormous amount of treatos. Together, we love hiking, venturing to new breweries and chasing food trucks. Being born and raised on the south shores of Lake Superior...I'm a walking/talking "You can take the girl out of the small town but you can't take the small town out of the girl." My roots run deep, dirt roads are > concrete, new doesn't always mean better, and if you need four wheel drive you're probably in the right place at the right time.
