Couples sessions aren't just for those who are newly engaged; they are for any two people who are mad about each other but haven't taken the time recently to slow down and truly appreciate being in each others presence. Lifestyle Newborn
In my corner of the world, we capture newborns naturally and comfortably. The days after your baby is born can feel like a whirlwind. There is so much to learn and adjust to; having to pack up your baby to come to a studio is the last thing I want my parents to have to do. Let me come to you! Lifestyle newborn sessions are done in the comforts of your home 7-10 days after baby is born. These sessions are meant to showcase the new bonds and natural moments that happen between parents, baby, siblings and fur kids. Minimal posing and wrapping.

We begin planning for your session
It all starts with filling out an inquiry
Fill out the inquiry form via the 'Get in Touch' page on my website. I will thoughtfully read through it and send back information about my sessions.
You get an AAP Welcome Guide
You will get a link to my booking calendar to choose your *date and your session proposal with invoice. Once your retainer is taken care of and your proposal is signed, your date is all yours!
*All outdoor sessions occur within two hours of sunset, (variable start times through out the year).
Your welcome guide will be emailed to you no later than 30 days prior to your session date. This is a very helpful piece in helping you plan wardrobe for your session as well as a little bit about what to expect.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I wear for my session?
A frequent and great question! All of my sessions come with a style guide and access to my online styling service to make choosing outfits for your session a breeze! I am always open to your questions and will answer them honestly so that you are comfortable, so that you feel yourself, but also so that your overall gallery is cohesive and beautiful!
How many images will I receive?
The number of images in your digital gallery will vary per session; usually my galleries range between 40-65 images. This number varies because my sessions are done in a storytelling manner meaning that the connections that preexist between the people in front of me and how they interpret or react to my direction will always differ from family to family or couple to couple.
Do I get printing rights?
Once you receive the link to your gallery, you have the right to print whatever you want! (The images cannot be used commercially or for compensation). I give my print recommendations with the final gallery delivery so that you get quality prints that match the tones and colors of your images almost exactly. Not all printing companies are equal in quality.
What does "storytelling session" mean?
My approach to photographing my families and couples is a little bit different than what is deemed 'traditional'. I believe that each person who steps in front of my camera deserves to have their story told as authentically as possible. Your gallery should represent the bonds and connections shared with your people. I focus on not only the overall big picture but the little details in front of me as well. Instead of stagnant posing, I aim to create a 'storyline', so to speak, of our time together.
Do I have to purchase extra images?
Absolutely not! I sift through all of the images we take together, choose all of the best ones and deliver them! I don't hold any back! I believe that you deserve to have all of your memories for safe keeping, to adorn your shelves and walls and to fill albums to look back on!
Where will my session take place and what time of day?
I have spots that I love to use with my families and couples that provide various backgrounds and beautiful light when photographed at certain times. All of my outdoor sessions take place no earlier than two hours prior to sunset, (variable start times through out the year,) and mid-morning for anything taking place indoors like lifestyle newborns. My heirloom family sessions take place at the families home/land. If you are a family or couple who have places you love, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will investigate the light to be sure it will be perfect for your session!
